PC Checkup
Open it and see your PC's specs and health on one page within seconds: the model, CPU, RAM (and whether you can add more), graphics, disks (health in %, temperature, hours used), the battery (how much it has worn) and Windows, with a 🟢 good, 🟡 caution or 🔴 problem label. Copy a summary into a sale listing, or save a report to hand to a buyer. Made for buying and selling used PCs, and for checking before an upgrade.
PC Checkup is in English or Thai: it follows your Windows language (English unless Windows is in Thai), and you can switch at any time under ⚙️ Settings → ภาษา / Language. The report and the copied summary use the language you chose.
What it does
- Every spec on one pageThe machine and motherboard, BIOS, CPU (cores, threads, cache), each RAM module (size, speed, DDR type), the free slots and the most the machine takes, graphics cards with their drivers, screens, every disk, the battery and the Windows version.
- Disk health in percentRead from the disk itself (NVMe: its SMART log · SATA SSD and hard disk: the SMART table), with the temperature, the hours powered on, the data written so far and a label saying whether it is fine, needs watching or has a problem, plus the free space of each drive.
- Battery healthThe capacity it was designed with against what a full charge holds now, as a percentage, with the charge cycles and a label saying whether it is time for a new one (on machines with a battery).
- Copy a summaryTen short lines ready to paste into a sale listing or a chat: the model, CPU, RAM, the disks with their health, graphics, battery and Windows.
- Save a reportThe whole page as one HTML file that opens anywhere, into your Documents folder; or click Print / save as PDF and choose Microsoft Print to PDF.
- Serial numbers stay hiddenThe machine's and the disks' serial numbers are not shown until you tick "Show serial numbers in the report" (for when a buyer asks; it is off again the next time the program opens).
- No administrator rightsNo permission prompt, no PowerShell or other program run behind the scenes: it reads straight from Windows, so it works on locked-down machines such as a work PC.
- No installExtract and double-click. Copy it to a USB stick to check a PC you are about to buy.

Getting started
- Download the zip file above, right-click it → Extract All…, and put the folder somewhere of yours, such as Documents or a USB stick. Don't run it from inside the zip, and avoid Program Files: the program has to write files next to itself when it updates.
- Double-click PCCheckup.exe. Its window opens and checks the machine right away. The first time it shows a notice about usage statistics; read it and click Got it.
- The top is the summary with the overall label (from the health of the disks and the battery). Scroll down for the cards with the details of each part. A card that cannot be read says so plainly.
- Click 📋 Copy summary and paste it anywhere, or 💾 Save report to get PC Checkup <model> <date>.html in Documents (the program opens the folder for you and never overwrites an older report), or 🖨️ Print / save as PDF.
- If a buyer asks for the serial numbers, tick Show serial numbers in the report before you copy or save.
The first time, Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. That's because the program isn't signed with a paid certificate yet; it doesn't mean there's a virus. If you downloaded it from this site, click More info and then Run anyway (once).
Where the labels come from
- NVMe disks: problem = the disk raises a critical warning, its spare area is below the maker's threshold, it is 100% used or more, or it reports media errors · caution = 80% used or more, or less than 50% of the spare area left · health % = 100 minus the percentage used.
- SATA disks (SSDs and hard disks): problem = the disk predicts its own failure, or has sectors that were reallocated, are waiting to be, or cannot be read · caution = 60°C or hotter, or an SSD with 20% or less of its life left · hard disks get no percentage, only the label (our own rules, written along the broad lines common disk-check programs use).
- Battery: health % = what a full charge holds now ÷ the designed capacity · good at 80% and above · caution at 50–79% · time for a new one below 50%.
- The overall label at the top is the worst label among the disks and the battery that could be read. The temperature is shown for information and never decides a label.
- Health not readable: most disks behind Intel RST/RAID or in a USB enclosure refuse to give their health without administrator rights. The program says "the health of this disk cannot be read" and still shows the model, the capacity and the free space.
- Units: disk sizes are in the makers' GB/TB (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes); RAM is in the GB people usually mean (1 GB = 1,024³ bytes). A 512 GB disk showing as about 476 GB in Windows is normal. "Takes up to" for RAM is what the machine's firmware says, which on some machines is less than it really takes.
Requirements
- 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11. The check needs no internet connection (the internet is used only for ads, usage statistics and updates).
- The program's window uses WebView2, which comes with Windows (without it, the program opens in your default browser instead).
- The program is in English or Thai: it picks the language from Windows and you can switch under ⚙️ Settings → ภาษา / Language.
Ads and removing them
Every feature of PC Checkup is free. It shows a small ad bar at the bottom of the window (one line of text, or a picture of 468×60, 728×90, 970×90 or 320×50, scaled down when the window is narrow) and, when the window is wide enough, an ad box beside the results (text, or a picture of 300×250 or 300×600, scaled down to fit the window's height). Ads never go into the report or the printed page. To remove the ads, ask for a key at contact@freesabai.com, then click Remove ads on the bar, paste the key into Ad-removal key and click Enter key. Keys are checked on your computer, without the internet.
Privacy
Everything about the machine is read on your computer by the program itself and kept only in memory while the program is open. Nothing about this computer, no specs, no machine or serial numbers, no computer name or user name, is sent anywhere, and it is written to disk only when you click to save a report. PC Checkup sends only a usage report at most once a day (a random ID for the installation that the program made itself, not taken from the hardware, the version, the Windows version, the Windows language and region, whether a key is in use, and how often each ad was shown). The first time it opens, the window shows a notice about this before anything is sent. Switch it off by clicking Usage statistics: on under ⚙️ Settings → Privacy. You are still told about new versions, because the latest version number comes with the ads the program already downloads. When you click to update the program, it downloads the new version from freesabai.com and sends nothing else. The full details are in our privacy policy.
Updating and removing
- When there's a new version of PC Checkup, even with usage statistics off, a strip under the top of the window says the new version is out (Later hides the strip until the program is next opened and leaves an ⬆ Update to button with the new version number at the top of the window, next to ⚙️ Settings, for later). Click Update now on the strip, or that button, and the program asks first; click Update now and it downloads the new version from freesabai.com, checks our signature, then closes and starts again by itself. Your settings stay; other files in its folder are only replaced when they are PC Checkup's own, such as the README.txt from the zip. (Click See the download page if you'd rather download it yourself from the program's download page on freesabai.com.)
- To check yourself at any time, go to ⚙️ Settings → Check for a new version (the program asks freesabai.com only when you click this button). If the check fails (for example without internet), the program opens its download page on freesabai.com. The program never downloads a new version without your click.
- If it can't update itself (for example its folder can't be written to, or the download fails the checks), it opens the program's download page on freesabai.com instead. You can also close the program and replace PCCheckup.exe with the new one; your settings stay.
- To remove: close the program and delete its folder. What it remembers about this computer (the settings, the ad-removal key and the random ID for the statistics) is in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PCCheckup; you can delete that too. The reports you saved in Documents are not deleted.
