What you record stays on your device

These tools record picture and sound with your own browser. What is recorded is held in the page's memory (or in a file you choose on your computer). It is not uploaded to freesabai's server or anyone else's, and it is gone when you close the page unless you download it yourself. The website only counts how many times a page is opened and how many times a file is saved (it never sends a picture, a sound or a file name, and you can switch the counting off at the foot of the page; see the privacy policy).

Always asked first, and switched off when you are done

We ask for the camera, microphone or screen sharing only when you press a record button, and the browser asks you once more whether to allow it. When you stop, or leave the page, the camera, microphone and screen sharing are all switched off and the camera's light goes out. If you pressed "Block" by mistake, you can change it with the lock icon beside the address.

Phones and computers

Voice and camera recording work on phones (Android Chrome, iPhone Safari) and on computers. Recording the screen is something most phone browsers do not let a web page do, so it works only on a computer (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari on a Mac).
