Resize images
Make a picture smaller or bigger by pixels, by percent, or to a ready size for social media and profile pictures. Do several at once. It runs in your browser and your pictures are not uploaded.
This tool needs JavaScript. If you still see this after a few seconds, JavaScript is switched off in your browser or the page did not load completely: turn JavaScript on or reload the page.
How to use it
- Press "Choose pictures" or drop them here. Pick several at once if you like.
- Choose how to resize: type pixels, type a percent, or pick a ready size, and choose the file type to save.
- Press "Resize and save". The new files, with the size added to the name, go to your downloads; several pictures come as one zip.
Your pictures never leave your device
This tool opens the pictures from your device, works on them in your browser's memory and saves new files straight back to your device. Nothing is uploaded to freesabai's servers or anyone else's, and no picture or file name is kept: close the page and it is all gone. The site only counts how many times this page is opened and how many times a result is saved, never a file name, size or content, and you can switch the counting off at the bottom of the page (see the privacy policy).
Good to know
- A picture made smaller stays sharper than one made bigger: enlarging blurs it because no detail is added. That is why "do not enlarge" is ticked for you.
- The way up from the EXIF is applied first, so a portrait photo stays upright, and the new file carries no EXIF (GPS place, camera, date).
- The ready sizes are what the platforms recommend today, but platforms change them. Check the platform's help page again if it matters.
- An animated GIF or WebP becomes a still picture, its first frame only.
- A picture with a wide colour profile (such as Display P3) is converted to sRGB and the profile is not kept, so colours may shift slightly.
- A very large picture on a phone (over about 16 million pixels) is brought down to what the device can hold as it is opened. For the full original size, use a computer.
