LeafNote
Sticky notes, to-do lists, timed reminders and a Thai calendar in one program. Leave it running and it reminds you when it's time.

What it does
- Sticky notesPress Ctrl+Alt+N from any program, jot it down and stick it on the screen. Pick a colour.
- Timed remindersWhen it's time, the note pops up on top with a sound. Snooze it, or repeat it every day or on chosen days.
- Trello-style listsPress Ctrl+Alt+T to add a task, drag to reorder, tick when done. Lists stay on top of the screen.
- Thai calendarPublic holidays, Buddhist holy days and lottery draw days, updated when new holidays are announced.
- Phone reminders tooSend an item to Google Calendar in one click (it opens in your own browser).
- Data stays on your PCNotes are never sent anywhere, and everything works without the internet.

Getting started
- Download the zip file above.
- Right-click the zip file and choose Extract All… into a folder of your choice, such as Documents. Don't run the program from inside the zip window: your notes would end up in a temporary folder and could be lost.
- Double-click LeafNote.exe. A leaf icon appears at the bottom right of the screen, next to the clock.
- Click the icon to open the calendar; right-click it for the menu, for example เปิดพร้อม Windows (start with Windows).
The first time, Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. That's because the program isn't signed with a paid certificate yet; it doesn't mean there's a virus. If you downloaded it from this site, click More info and then Run anyway (once).
To check the file hasn't been tampered with, compare the SHA-256 above with the output of Get-FileHash LeafNote-1.0.0.zip in PowerShell.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (uses the .NET Framework 4 that comes with Windows; nothing else to install).
- The internet is optional. With it you get the latest holiday data and new ads.
- The program's screens are in Thai.
Where your data is kept
Everything is in the data folder next to LeafNote.exe (if that folder can't be written to, for example under Program Files, it uses %APPDATA%\LeafNote instead). Back up by copying data\notes.json; move to a new computer by moving the whole folder.
Ads and removing them
Every feature of LeafNote is free. It shows a small ad bar at the bottom of the calendar (one line of text, or a 468×60 picture) and of to-do lists (one line of text). To remove it, ask for a key at contact@freesabai.com, then right-click the icon → ปิดแถบโฆษณา… (remove the ad bar) and paste the key. Keys are checked on your computer, without the internet.
Privacy
LeafNote never sends your notes or tasks anywhere. It sends only a usage report at most once a day (a random ID for the installation, the version, the Windows version, the language, whether a key is in use, and how often ads were shown). Switch it off by right-clicking the icon and unticking ส่งสถิติการใช้งาน (send usage statistics); you then won't be told about new versions. The full details are in our privacy policy.
Updating and removing
- When there's a new version, LeafNote says so on the calendar; clicking it opens this page. The program never downloads or installs anything by itself.
- To update: quit the program (right-click the icon → ออกจากโปรแกรม, exit) and replace LeafNote.exe with the new one. Your notes in the data folder stay as they are.
- To remove: untick เปิดพร้อม Windows (start with Windows), quit the program and delete the folder (keep a copy of notes.json first if you want your notes).
