Case converter

Paste text and choose the case you want: all capitals, all small letters, Title Case, Sentence case, or the programmers' camelCase and snake_case. Thai letters, digits and emoji have no case and stay exactly as they are. It runs in your browser and the text is not sent anywhere.

This tool needs JavaScript. If you still see this after a few seconds, JavaScript is switched off in your browser or the page did not load completely: turn JavaScript on or reload the page.

How to use it

  1. Paste or type the text into the box on the left, or press "Open file".
  2. Choose the case you want. The result shows at once (the programmers' cases convert line by line, one name to a line).
  3. Press "Copy" or "Download" to take the result.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to Thai text when I convert to capitals?

Thai has no upper and lower case, so it does not change, and neither do vowel and tone marks, digits and emoji. Only letters that have a case, such as a-z and Greek or Cyrillic letters, change, so Thai mixed with English changes only in the English part.

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalises every word, as in a title, and can keep small words such as a, the, of and and in lower case. Sentence case capitalises only the start of each sentence and line and makes the rest small, which can turn proper names small, so you may need to fix those by hand.

Why choose Turkish?

Turkish has a dotted and a dotless i: the capital of i is İ and the capital of ı is I. With the default rules "istanbul" becomes "ISTANBUL" instead of "İSTANBUL". Choose Turkish to get it right.

Your data stays on your device

Everything runs in your browser. What you type, paste or open is not sent to freesabai's servers or anyone else's, and is not kept in the browser: close the page and it is gone. The site only counts how many times this page was opened and how many times someone copied or saved a result (never what was pasted or the result, and you can switch the counting off in the footer; see the privacy policy).
