Buddhist ⇄ Gregorian year and date converter
Paste a text or a list of dates and convert the years between the Buddhist era (พ.ศ., BE) and the Gregorian one (CE) wherever the tool finds them: numeric dates (10/10/2569), written dates (10 ตุลาคม 2569, 10 Oct 2026) and years after a พ.ศ./ค.ศ./BE/CE mark. Keep each date's style or write them all in one you choose, many lines at a time. It runs in your browser and the text is not sent anywhere.

How to use it
- Paste the text with dates or years into the box on the left (several lines are fine), or press "Open file".
- Choose the direction (or let it detect) and the style you want. The result shows at once.
- Press "Copy" or "Download" to take the result.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a Buddhist era year to a Gregorian year?
Subtract 543: BE 2569 is 2026 CE, and add 543 to go the other way. This tool does it for a whole text, and turns the mark พ.ศ. into ค.ศ. (or BE into CE) for you when one is in front of the year.
Does it check leap years and dates that do not exist?
Yes. 29/02/2567 is fine (2024 is a leap year) but 29/02/2566 and 31/04/2569 do not exist: the tool leaves them as they are and tells you which line. The leap year is worked out from the matching Gregorian year.
Are years before BE 2484 converted the same way?
Not exactly. Before 1 January BE 2484 (1941) the Thai year began on 1 April, so January to March of those years fall one Gregorian year later than a plain minus 543. The tool does it correctly and warns you when it meets such a date.
Good to know
- Two-digit years, such as 10/10/69, are not read because they are ambiguous.
- A numeric date 10/11/2569 is read day/month/year, the Thai way; the option switches to month/day/year.
- Direction detection: a mark (พ.ศ./ค.ศ./BE/CE) in front of the year decides; without one a year above 2200 is Buddhist.
- A line that is only a four-digit year (such as 2569) is converted too.
Your data stays on your device
Everything runs in your browser. What you type, paste or open is not sent to freesabai's servers or anyone else's, and is not kept in the browser: close the page and it is gone. The site only counts how many times this page was opened and how many times someone copied or saved a result (never what was pasted or the result, and you can switch the counting off in the footer; see the privacy policy).
