Paste a list and put numbers (1. 2. 3. or Thai digits) at the start of every line, add text at the start or end of every line (for a bullet list, or quotes and a comma for SQL), or remove the numbering that is there. It runs in your browser and the text is not sent anywhere.
This tool needs JavaScript. If you still see this after a few seconds, JavaScript is switched off in your browser or the page did not load completely: turn JavaScript on or reload the page.
How to use it
- Paste the list into the box on the left, one item to a line, or press "Open file".
- Choose whether to add numbers and text before and after, or remove numbering. The result shows at once.
- Press "Copy" or "Download" to take the result.
Frequently asked questions
Can I wrap every line in quotes with a comma for SQL or JSON?
Yes. Untick "Add numbers", type ' in "Text at the start of every line" and ', in "Text at the end of every line", and every line becomes 'value', ready for IN (…) or an array. If a value contains a quote itself, use find and replace on it first.
Can I remove numbering from an existing list?
Yes. Choose "Remove the numbering": the tool takes off 1. 1) (1) [1] 1: and Thai digits, and bullets such as • - * +, and keeps the indentation.
Are empty lines numbered?
By default they are skipped: they get no number and are not counted. Untick "Skip empty lines" to number every line.
Good to know
- The text at the start comes before the number: "Item " with the separator ". " gives "Item 1. …".
Your data stays on your device
Everything runs in your browser. What you type, paste or open is not sent to freesabai's servers or anyone else's, and is not kept in the browser: close the page and it is gone. The site only counts how many times this page was opened and how many times someone copied or saved a result (never what was pasted or the result, and you can switch the counting off in the footer; see the privacy policy).
