How to crop a PDF

1. Choose a PDF file or drop it on the box.
2. Drag the edges of the green frame on the page picture until only the part you want is left (the dark part will be cut off), or type the percentage for each side.
3. Choose every page or only some, then press "Crop and save".

Your files stay on your device

This tool opens the file from your device, crops it in your browser's memory and saves the new file back to your device. Nothing is uploaded and no file or file name is kept. Your original file is not changed.

Good to know

• What is cropped off is still in the file, only hidden from view (some programs, or people who know how, can bring it back). If the information has to be really gone, such as a name or an ID number you are cutting off before passing a file on, do not rely on cropping.
• Margins are percentages of each page, so in a file with pages of different sizes each page is cut in proportion to its own size.
• The text and quality of what is left do not change. Turned pages are cropped as you see them.
• Files locked with a password need to be unlocked first.
