Watermark PDFs and pictures

Put text or a logo on PDF files and JPG/PNG pictures as a watermark, with a ready-made notice for copies of an ID card ("for … only"). See a preview before you save.

This tool needs JavaScript. If you still see this after a few seconds, JavaScript is switched off in your browser or the page did not load completely: turn JavaScript on or reload the page.

How to add a watermark

  1. Choose PDF files or JPG/PNG pictures (several at once is fine).
  2. Pick a preset or type your own text, or use a picture as the watermark, then adjust the layout, tilt, size and opacity. Check the preview below.
  3. Press "Add the watermark and save". Several files come as a zip.

Your files stay on your device

This tool opens the files from your device, adds the watermark in your browser's memory and saves the new files back to your device. Nothing is uploaded and no file or file name is kept. That suits copies of ID cards, which should not be sent to any website.
