How to convert a PDF to Excel

1. Choose a PDF, or drop it on the box.
2. Press "Convert and save as .xlsx".
3. Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice and check it.

This tool opens the file from your device, reads the text and builds the Excel file in your browser, and saves it back to your device. Nothing is uploaded and no file is kept.

Good to know

• Cells are a guess. Text that sits far apart becomes separate cells, and cells that start in the same place share a column. Plain tables of rows come out well; tables with merged cells, several lines in one cell or several tables side by side can come out wrong. Check it before you use it.
• Text that looks like a number (such as 1,200.50) becomes a number in Excel. A number with a leading zero (a phone number, say) is kept as text.
• A scanned file made of pictures has no text to take: run OCR first.
• A file locked with a password must be unlocked first.
