Extract a ZIP
Open a ZIP and see the folders and files inside with their sizes and dates. Save files one by one, tick several, or extract everything into a folder on your computer. Password-protected ZIPs open too. In your browser; the file is not sent anywhere.

How to use it
- Choose a ZIP or drop it on the box. Every folder and file inside is listed with its size and date.
- If the ZIP has a password (files show a lock), type it in the box that appears.
- Press "Save" on a file, tick several and save them, or press "Extract into a folder" to unpack everything (or what you ticked) into a folder you pick, keeping the folders.
Good to know
- Ordinary ZIPs (store and deflate) and ZIP64 (over 4 GB or more than 65,535 files) are supported. Files compressed with BZIP2, LZMA or Deflate64 and ZIPs split over several files (.z01) are reported as not supported. Not for .rar or .7z.
- Passwords: AES (128, 192 and 256 bit, as made by 7-Zip, WinRAR and WinZip) and the old ZipCrypto, which is easy to break and so not safe. A wrong password is reported plainly; no broken files come out.
- "Extract into a folder" works in Chrome and Edge on a computer. Other browsers and phones save files one by one (the browser may ask once whether the site may save several files).
- Names that try to leave the folder (such as ../ or /etc/) are always kept inside the folder you picked, and every file is checked against its checksum before saving.
- The ZIP is read in pieces, so even a big one lists fine, but one very large file (over about 2 GB) may need more memory than the browser has, phones especially.
- ZIPs from Thai Windows whose names come out as garbage: use Unzip with garbled Thai file names, which offers more encodings and makes a new ZIP with readable names.
Your files stay on your device
Everything runs in your browser. The ZIP, the files in it and the password are not sent to freesabai's server or anyone else's, and nothing is kept in the browser: close the page and it is gone. The site only counts that this page was opened and how many times a result was saved (never the file name or content; you can turn counting off at the bottom of the site, see the privacy policy).

Questions and answers
Can I unzip a password-protected ZIP?
Yes. Type the password and AES (128, 192 or 256 bit, as made by 7-Zip and WinRAR) and the old ZipCrypto both open. A wrong password is reported at once, and the password is not sent anywhere.
Can I unzip files on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone's browser, choose the ZIP and save files one by one. Extracting into a folder in one go works in Chrome and Edge on a computer.
Why can some files in the ZIP not be saved?
They use a compression the tool does not support, such as BZIP2, LZMA or Deflate64, or a special encryption: try 7-Zip. The other files in the same ZIP still extract normally.
