vCard (VCF) to CSV / Excel and back

Exported your phone contacts as a .vcf and want them in Excel, or have a list of numbers in Excel to put on a phone in one go? Both ways are on this page. It runs in your browser; the contacts are not sent anywhere.

Getting the tool ready…This tool needs JavaScript. If you still see this after a few seconds, JavaScript is switched off in your browser or the page did not load completely: turn JavaScript on or reload the page.

How to use it

  1. Pick the direction: VCF → CSV for a .vcf from a phone or Google Contacts, or CSV → VCF for a list in Excel (saved as CSV first).
  2. Choose the file and check the first 20 contacts in the table. For a CSV, check that the name, phone and e-mail columns are matched right, or pick them yourself.
  3. Press save: a CSV that Excel opens with Thai intact, or one .vcf holding everyone, to send to the phone and open to import.

Your data stays on your device

Contacts and phone numbers are personal. Everything runs in your browser: the files are not sent to freesabai's server or anyone else's, and nothing is kept in the browser; close the page and it is gone. The site only counts that this page was opened and how many times a result was saved (never the file name or content; you can turn counting off at the bottom of the site, see the privacy policy).

Questions and answers

How do I get my phone contacts into Excel?

Export the contacts from the Contacts app or Google Contacts as a .vcf, choose it here and save as CSV. Excel opens it with Thai intact and phone numbers keep their leading 0.

Can I put a contact list from Excel on an iPhone or Android phone?

Yes. Save the sheet as CSV, pick CSV → VCF, check the name and phone columns and save the .vcf. Send it to the phone and tap it to import.

Are my contacts sent anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser on your device: nothing is uploaded and nothing is kept. Close the page and the data is gone.
