Markdown to HTML

Paste Markdown or open a .md file and get one .html file: just the content to paste into a site, or a whole page you can double-click and read, with system fonts that have Thai and dark mode. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

Getting the tool ready…This tool needs JavaScript. If you still see this after a few seconds, JavaScript is switched off in your browser or the page did not load completely: turn JavaScript on or reload the page.

How to use it

  1. Paste Markdown into the left box, or press "Choose a Markdown file" (.md), or drop the file on it.
  2. Pick "A whole page" for a file you can double-click and read, or "Just the content" for HTML to paste into a site or another system.
  3. Press "Copy" or "Download .html". The preview below shows how it looks.

Good to know

Your data stays on your device

Everything runs in your browser. The text and files are not sent to freesabai's server or anywhere else, and nothing is kept in the browser. The site only counts that someone opened this page and copied or downloaded (not what; you can turn the counting off at the bottom of the site, see the privacy policy).

Questions and answers

How do I turn a .md file into a page I can open and read?

Paste the Markdown or choose the .md file, pick A whole page and press Download .html. You get one file that opens in any browser, with readable CSS, Thai-ready fonts and dark mode.

Where did the HTML in my Markdown go?

HTML written inside the Markdown always comes out as text, never as real tags, so no script can slip into the file. If you need special tags, add them to the HTML you get.

Why do some links have no address?

Only http, https, mailto and relative addresses such as ./page.html are kept. Other links, like javascript:, keep just their text, for safety.
