Handwriting practice sheets
Pick a set of letters (Thai consonants, Thai vowels and tones, digits, A-Z, a-z) or type your own words, sentences and names. Each row shows one solid model followed by dashed outlines to trace to the end of the row, on three guide lines, ready to print on A4.

The sheet you make is yours: use it in class, print and sell it or sell the file, no credit needed. Everything is made in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere or kept, and it is gone when you close the page.
How to use it
- Pick a set of letters, or choose "My own words" and type words, sentences or names, one per line. The sheet appears on the right at once.
- Choose the letter size: large for small children who are just learning to hold a pencil, small for children who already write well. Change the title on the sheet as you like.
- Press "Print / Save as PDF". In the print dialog choose A4 paper and turn "Headers and footers" off if you do not want the web address on the sheet. A set with many letters, such as the Thai consonants, runs over several pages.
Good to know
- The dashed letters have the shape of the font on the device that prints: Sarabun when it is installed, otherwise Leelawadee UI or Tahoma on Windows. Thai letters may look different from the school copybook style (no round "heads" as a teacher writes them). Print one page first to see.
- Thai vowels above and below and the tone marks always stay on their consonant: each word goes onto the sheet as one piece of text, not letter by letter.
- The three lines: the top one is the height of a consonant, the dashed middle one helps with size, the bottom one is the baseline. The tails of ป ฝ ฟ and the tone marks rise above the top line and the vowels ุ ู sit under the bottom one; that is normal.
- A line too long for the paper gets smaller letters so that it fits. Very long sentences read better split over several lines.
- Nothing is saved: what you typed is gone when you close the page. Keep lists you use often in a file of your own and paste them again. For vocabulary practice, try the word search maker.

Questions and answers
Can I make a sheet with a child's name?
Yes. Choose "My own words" as the set and type names or sentences, one per line. Each row gets one solid model and dashed copies to trace to the end of the row.
Why do the Thai letters differ from the school copybook?
The dashed letters use the Thai font of the device that prints (Sarabun if installed, otherwise Leelawadee UI or Tahoma), so they lack the round heads of a teacher's hand. They suit early tracing practice.
How many pages is the Thai consonant set?
About five A4 pages at the medium size, more at the large size. For fewer pages choose the small size, or type only the letters you want to practise.
